Pawpaws and Wafer Ash Seedlings for Sale! August 2024

Pawpaws and wafer ash are some uncommon and special flowering trees of the Carolinian Forest. Pawpaws are the largest native fruit in Canada, tasting like a banana/apple custard with the shape of a Mango. This important tree can help reverse the declining flower beetle population. Pawpaws are an excellent understory plant.  Wafer ash on the other hand is in the citrus family and it can increase potency of other medicines and is the host to the famous giant swallowtail butterfly! Both trees are on the small side making them a very versatile urban tree! All Sales will go towards saving the animals and turtles of Mimico Creek, Etobicoke, Ontario.
